Obtaining Certain Items in Skyblock/Superflat specifically Ice

Hi Mojang Developer Team,

I am asking for future suggestions/balancing in relations to the recent removal of void trading in Minecraft, now I understand completely why you would remove end portal void trading as it is game breaking, however by getting rid of void trading and not providing alternate methods to get certain items, you have prevented people such as myself who play skyblock or superflat from getting certain items, in this specific instance I am referring to blue ice and packed ice, while it is possible to get it from Wandering traders, the amount that can be obtained is miniscule adding on to the fact that wandering traders are already a random chance spawn which can take real life days to spawn even a couple, in gamemodes such as skyblock or superflat it is impossible to get a large amount of blue ice or any ice for that matter to use in nether highways or other methods of use, I am not asking you to reinstate void trading but I would appreciate it if you were to add an alternate way to gain blue ice or ice for people who play superflat or skyblock, whether it be through a regular villager trading it, making wandering trader stock never run out and until it despawns, or by adding a new mechanic like a fridge block or an equivalent that would allow you to mass freeze buckets of water into ice. Without this addition many methods of travel along with many methods that require ice of any amount such as item sorters have become near impossible to create.
