They could rework the allay

I've seen several similar ideas regarding reworking the worst type of allay... basically it's an uncorrupted Vex, can't they give it something more useful, like collecting blocks? It's not very interesting, really? My idea is:

Why not give it the ability to follow you to heal you or provide buffs to players, exit regeneration or movement speed, feather fall are useful or just why not put them in a bottle like they do in some games? Having several allays sometimes becomes very complicated because they don't appear naturally XD
