When you think of all the "Stone" Blocks with variations for building how many types really are there? Stone, Deepslate, Tuff, and Endstone (you could include Quartz too but its more limited than the rest). But those 4 or 5 are really it, I could go on about adding "new stone blocks" but why do that when we already have things we could work with here? I suggest what we do is add onto what's already available! Like wouldnt it be so cool if we had Andesite, Granite, or Diorite bricks? Or what if we had Chiseled Endstone with an eye pattern on it? Wouldn't it be so cool if we had Sandstone and Red Sandstone bricks? The reason I feel this would be a good idea to expand upon all these stone type blocks is because what is minecraft truly at heart? Its a Sandbox game, and what better way to unleash players creativity then to expand upon the tools they can use? And if we gave more of these blocks more variations it would give players more incentive to actually go out and explore, to be EXCITED when they find THAT block they've been looking for to use. I think with the mini drop ideas it would be an amazing idea to focus one of the drops on adding all of these new stone variations. Furthermore, as the game has progressed theres so much more blocks to build with for things like wood so wouldnt it just make sense to make more stone that you could use to better palette with some newer blocks or have the opportunity to make more specific and stylish builds? Please think about this Mojang.
