Each Ender Dragon defeat permanently increases armored hostile mob spawn rates and improves their gear quality (tier/enchantments) across all dimensions, capped at 20 kills. Base mob stats (health, attack) shouldn't change.
1. Key Mechanics
- Each dragon kill (up to 20) globally increases the chance for mobs (zombies, skeletons, piglins, etc.) to spawn with higher-tier armor/weapons (e.g., iron up to diamond in Overworld, gold up to netherite in Nether) and stronger enchantments (Protection IV, Sharpness V, Power V).
- Scaling stops at 20 dragon kills (mirroring End gateway generation limits).
- Example: Post-10 kills, diamond-geared zombies become common; post-20, netherite piglins appear in the Nether.
Considerations:
- No base stat increases: Mobs retain the game difficulty health/damage (e.g., skeletons deal identical arrow damage, but may spawn with a Power V bow).
- An exception for this could be the Ender Dragon.
2. Benefits
- Gives permanent meaning to dragon kills – each victory elevates global challenges.
- Rewards skilled players with high-value loot (enchanted diamond/maybe renewable netherite armor?).
Other benefits include: balanced progression, cross-dimensional impact, uses existing mechanics, gear-driven challenge.
3. Technical Execution
This feature could be disabled by a gamerule.
