Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Brighter light sources

Make a block or variant of the torch that’s brighter, the current lighting options don’t let big empty areas get lit in a way that is tidy. Maybe a special lantern style block that uses glow stone and blaze powder to balance it, or adding blaze powder to a torch to make it a bright torch.
