Lanterns Light Level

How about with all these new lanterns coming out we could adjust the light levels for ambiance with glowstone dust or redstone dust.

if glowstone is in your hand in the same way you would honeycomb copper you could raise the light level,

if redstone you could lower the light level.

    I don't know if those items would be the best but I like the idea! I like that all the lanterns (except the soul one) have the same light level, but that's also a missed opportunity to have lanterns with different light levels so this could work
