Trident with riptide should work in lava.

A trident with riptide should work in lava because it should be a lone feature to be saved from lava but it should not provide any resistance or fire protection you will still burn if you successfully escaped lava with trident enchanted with riptide and I don't see a reason why.

 

Sorry if I wrote anything wrong this is my first time suggesting something.

    This is a good idea but I think it should be a different enchantment
