The sky above the ocean features floating quartz isles with Greco-Roman monuments, solid cloud-like structures that can touch down to the ocean surface level, has abandoned quartz portal structures, and cloud-like columns that extend down from floating cloud-like structures above, which also have their own Aetheric structures and ruins. There are several stairways, walkways, and bridges that link the sky isles and the oceanic surface isles and structures. At nighttime, there are phantasm mobs that are cloaked and hooded that can phase in and out of walls, and look like banshees, with voids for faces beneath their hoods, and voids for bodies beneath their garments. They have long arms with three claws for appendages, and tattered cloaks. They float around the ruins patrolling for unsuspecting players. They tend to avoid lights, especially soul torches and soul lanterns. They drop special Aether orbs for the player to later craft into magical items.
The deep sea trench, which can extend down to Y-56, has bioluminescent mobs, an underwater ancient quartz ruins that appears Greco-Roman, and Mythical Elder Guardians in a custom ocean monument, made of prismarine and quartz. Glowing seaweed, glow squid, and various other mobs unique to the ruins inhabit the deep sea trench biome.
