The appearance for the new shelves should be tweaked to look more simple

The way the shelves look now, I wouldn't use them as shelves. They look too busy with the three slots which can only be switched with redstone, I don't want a whole lever to be used for one shelf. Also, there is not enough depth in the model, there should be at least 2 more pixel added to sell the idea that it can actually hold items. I think it would be cool if you can also stack like 8 of the same item on one slot, its a lot better than the hotbar switching mechanic.
