Placing a block in a space already occupied by pink petals or wildflowers

Pink Petals and Wildflowers can be incredibly irritating when trying to build something large in the biomes they are found in (Cherry Groves and Birch Forests) as they are very abundant. You need to break the flowers before you can place a block in its place.

When placing a block in a space already occupied by short grass, the block you are trying to place will override the short grass instead of being placed adjacent to it. This also applies to most other types of plant matter of similar size and abundance (Short Dry Grass, Leaf Litter, etc). Having these two flower variants also behave in this way will fix the issue.
