More slab variants and being able to place items on slabs

I'd love to see slabs get more attention in Minecraft! Here are two main ideas: 1. New Slab Types Quarter Slabs: Just like slabs but cut in half again (¼ of a full block). Great for even more detailed building! Log Slabs: Let us craft horizontal and vertical slabs from wood logs (not just planks). These would open up new creative options for natural-looking builds or rustic furniture. 2. Placeable Items on Slabs It would be amazing to place things like: Pots Lanterns Torches Candles Flowerpots Armor Stands Item frames And more... ...on top of slabs without needing to place a full block. This would really help with compact decorating, especially when building detailed interiors or gardens with slab flooring. These changes would add so much creativity and flexibility for players who love building and decorating. Minecraft is all about freedom and expression — and these small additions would go a long way toward that!
