Switch 2 - 2GB limit

Minecraft needs a patch for the Switch 2 to allow profiles to have more than 2gb. Between addons and worlds my kids are always hovering around 2gb and constantly having to delete things, with the new hardware for the Switch 2 I don't see why we need a 2gb limit.

    Agreed!!!  Even the update file is like 333mb and takes up 16% of the available storage space!!  I feel like it is completely absurd, considering you can easily by 256gb sd cards for the switch and manage your own storage as needed.  Nintendo even gives you access to purchase downloadable content from Minecraft Marketplace that quickly reaches this threshold.  Nintendo will sell it to you, but not let utilize it all at once.  This is so frustrating

    I have a world that I used to play on the Switch and had to move up to realms to play and now it's too large for the console This limit seems arbitrary and is severely limiting to Minecraft given the potential world size.

    I'm hoping this is fixed with the upcoming Switch 2 edition that was just announced.
    Lost a world a while ago do to this limit, was the sole reason I traded in my Switch hardcopy of Minecraft & moved to PC & iOS bedrock.
