Hello Mojang Team,
I’ve noticed that Minecraft on PlayStation 5 includes a setting called "Haptic Feedback" under Accessibility. However, this only seems to enable basic vibrations — not the full potential of the DualSense controller’s advanced haptics and adaptive triggers.
As a PlayStation 5 player, I’d love to see deeper integration with the DualSense features that many modern PS5 games already support. Right now, Minecraft lacks dynamic haptic effects like:
Varying feedback for weather (e.g. soft pulses during rain, crunch during snow)
Adaptive resistance on triggers while mining, using a bow, or breaking blocks
Unique tactile feedback when taking damage, gliding with Elytra, or flying
Directional haptics based on left/right actions
These enhancements would not only improve immersion and feedback for all players, but would also increase accessibility and enjoyment for PS5 users.
Please consider upgrading Minecraft's DualSense support to take full advantage of the PS5’s hardware capabilities. It would make a huge difference in how the game feels to play on this platform.
Thanks for all your hard work,
– A dedicated Minecraft PS5 player 🎮
