A blueprint could be similar to a map, that would show outlines & lists of blocks needed for a build. NOT a 3d Rendering software.
The ability to make and use blueprints in your world would help in-game play tremendously. A player would have the option to orientate the schematic drawing on a 45, 90(straight on), top down, bottom up...essentially a variety of angles, but only one can be chosen for each schematic. This would incentivize multiple schematics for a particular build, depending on its complexity.
Application: A player would make a schematic by building the creation, and then, similar to some 3d rendering mods, left click a corner, and then right click the opposite with the blueprint, to "encase" the structure. They would then have the option to orientate the drawing however they please.
I think this fills a core desire with a tool, especially on multiplayer servers, for players to recreate builds from others. The blueprint would fit perfectly with kits, in bundles and/or shulkers, as small contraptions like shulker loaders, unloaders, farms and the like, can fit inside one, now, along with a schematic. Single players would also benefit, as playing in long term worlds, things get forgotten.
