I am not sure if this can be integrated into Java or bedrock, so i went with the idea of an entirely new version of Minecraft which would have, be effectively an engine, with an AI built into it.
The AI would tailor the code of Minecraft, when you use Add-ons to blend them seamlessly into the game its self as if they where always apart of the game, regardless of the kinds or types of Add-ons used in your world. Add-ons would essentially become bags of Legos for the AI to assemble, it would Remove Duplicate Items, Optimize the mods, as well as Translate Legacy Code. insuring there are no conflicts between mods, and items can be used interchangeably between mods, and the mods don't get broken when new updates release. it would even allow some one to take mods no longer supported by there creators, and load them in modern versions of Minecraft and work.
Updates might even be easier because they could passed through as mods, which people can opt in an out of. even allowing people to port older versions of Minecraft, as well as old mod packs for some small nostalgia.
In short this short this is just hypothetical idea, If anyone is willing to humor the idea.
