Copper Armor and Tools, 'Reinforced with Copper'

Hello Dear Minecraft Team

I want to make a suggestion on the use of copper since you guys are on the lookout for new features.

 

Iron armor or an iron tool can be put to into the smithing table and copper on the other slot to 'Reinforce' it.

 - Giving it a unique pattern or hue

Thus making the durability of the iron items higher, making early game easier before reaching Diamond.

 

This can also be considered for iron golems, in my opinion they die frantically quick then expected.

  The tools/weapon handle/hilt is made of sticks maybe change that to copper as well for more endurance!
