A Way To Clear A Villagers Inventory

It would be good if we could have a mechanic to clear a villagers personal inventory (the hidden one where they retain crops and food past to them from farmers). This would be very helpfull for when creating crop farms run by villagers, where sometimes they can fill up on junk items, thus failing to pick up any more seeds in order to plant them again. Maybe some sort of potion we can throw at them that makes them drop their inventory items, or holding a specific crafted item of some sort that would make them thow their inventory items at you. This way we could also throws things at villagers in order to have them be picked up by them and stored away for us like a secret stash which we could later retrieve.
