When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

An Easier Way to Transmit Specific Redstone Signals

Currently, it is easy to transmit an 'on' or 'off' Redstone signal. Vertically, it can be done with observers or Redstone torches, and horizontally it can be done with Redstone wires and repeaters. 

However, it is a lot more difficult to transmit a specific Redstone signal strength over a long distance. In order to preserve this signal strength, you need to use comparators. Horizontally, this means making a long comparator chain, and vertically this is even more difficult. 

If there was an easier way to transmit specific Redstone signals over long distances — both horizontally and vertically — it would open up more possibilities for Redstone contraptions with more than just an 'on' and 'off' state.

    You can use glass to build up signal vertically in a chain of 2x1 in bedrock, stone walls statechange, and other stuffs. Horizontally it works also with redstone train rails and observers

    You can also use a tower of leafs and an observer, and when you place wood under the tower it will update all the leaves
