Misconception: Rabbits don't eat carrots

Because of Bugs Bunny, many people believe that rabbits eat carrots. Mojang shouldn't spread these misconceptions! Because that's false; rabbits don't eat carrots in the wild. In the wild, they eat grass or clover. A responsible owner will give their rabbit hay or lettuce.

So what should rabbits eat instead of carrots? Lettuce, of course! Mojang needs to implement lettuce to coax rabbits and encourage them to reproduce. And of course, lettuce must be cultivable.

Where can you find lettuce seeds? Either: rely on the sniffer to find a seed. Or: the farmer villager, and lettuce seeds must be among their first choices. Or: the Wandering Trader, who can randomly offer them.

After all, lettuce won't just be used to coax rabbits. It could be used in the sandwich we're imagining in a food update. We could make it into a salad or eat it raw... even if it wouldn't satisfy a player's appetite ^^

So, I know a player has already made a suggestion along these lines, but I found it lacking.
