Tie a boat to a horse with a leash

My idea is to attach a boat to a horse using a leash. This would make it possible to have a passenger and/or a trunk attached to one's horse. This would be ideal for long multiplayer trips, for example. All you'd have to do is attach a trunk to your horse and invite a player or entity to carry it. I think my idea is excellent.
