the fletching table was promised to be given a purpose way back when, since then, all other villager-related blocks are functional and can realistically serve a purpose in minecraft. Except the fletching table. I figure the simplest and easiest way to make it useful is to add 2 functions: crafting a new type of arrow, maybe a splash arrow that when landing creates a lingering effect around its landing spot of the potion its tipped with. And also to make some new bows. The default bow has been in the game before the official release. And the only 2 meaningful changes were: Adding arrows, also happened before release, and not making arrows explode, ALSO added before release. And the bow has been the only reliable ranged option for awhile. Crossbows are not especially effective, more gimmicky and fun with firework loading and whatnot. snowballs arent reliable, and although throwing a loyalty trident works nobody really uses tridents anymore. The new bows could be super simple, too. One thats more durable, one that shoots farther, one thats more accurate. Anything to make the fletching table realistically useful
