A large part of the community wants emerald armor added to Minecraft. However, adding it in a traditional way would break the game balance because emeralds are easy to get early on through trading, allowing players to have emerald armor at the start of survival.
To avoid this, I propose that emerald armor can only be found in chests within very rare structures, with a low spawn rate (around 0.3%), and that it should not be craftable.
This would preserve game balance while encouraging players to explore more.
The armor could offer protection equivalent to diamond armor, with a unique bonus like a permanent "Hero of the Village" effect, improving trades with villagers.
A unique and recognizable visual effect would enhance its appeal.
Since trading is a core part of hardcore survival, this rare and powerful armor would motivate players to seek it out, unlike chainmail armor, which is often ignored.
In summary, a rare, non-craftable, powerful emerald armor with strategic bonuses would be a balanced and exciting addition to Minecraft survival.
