Bedrock and Java Parity have come a long way. However, Bedrock is still seen as the mobile edition. Part of the reason for this is the lack of mouse and keyboard support. Jumping from Java to Bedrock is pretty jarring due to the lack of familiar controls players are used to.
- Holding shift and dragging the mouse over inventory doesn't quick deposit.
- Pressing 'F' DOES NOT offhand an item.
- Number Keys DO NOT place an item in the corresponding slot.
- probably a couple others I'm forgetting
I love Bedrock for its plug and play nature, especially when I refresh my pc. The community creations are consistently updated, and server hosting is made easy. I fully believe Bedrock could attract more players with control parity. It's the only reason I personally hesitate to start a new world on bedrock.
