Charged Copper Gear — Storm-Based Buffs for Copper Armor, Tools & Weapons.

Copper gear is planned to sit between stone and iron, but iron is just as easy to obtain and better overall. To give copper its own identity, I suggest a system of lightning-based temporary buffs without new items or mobs.

⚡ Armor Buff:
Wearing a full copper set during a thunderstorm has a chance to attract lightning. When struck, the armor gains a Charged Aura (like a charged creeper) for 90 seconds, giving:
• +50% Damage Dealt
• +50% Damage Resistance
• +50% Speed

⚔️ Copper Sword Buff:
Place a copper sword on a lightning rod. If struck, it gains Charged status for 10 minutes:
• +50% Damage

⛏️ Copper Tools Buff:
Place any copper tool on a lightning rod. When struck by lightning, it gains the Charged status for 10 minutes:
• +200% Mining Speed

✨ All charged items show the aura of a charged creeper — with visual sparks only, no extra effects.
