The True Power of Copper

Copper has recently gained new functionality with the addition of copper armor and tools in the latest Minecraft versions. However, their usefulness is short-lived, as players quickly move on to better materials like iron, diamond, or netherite.

To give copper a unique and lasting purpose, I propose a new item: AA Batteries. These could be found as rare loot in Trial Chambers and would act like a new kind of enchantment book. When combined with copper tools or armor in an anvil, the item would electrify them, granting special effects:

  • Tools would deal more damage or mine faster.

  • Armor would become more durable, similar to diamond-level protection.

  • There could be visual effects like sparks or electric particles.

    i feel like AA batteries would be off-brand for Minecraft but something similar to this would be good. we definitely need a update to the enchanting table.

    That's a cool idea, but instead of AA Batteries, I think they should be called electric charges and be dropped by an electric mob. Anyone got ideas for its name and where it spawns? I made the posts
