Make the copper golem put the items in the barrel.

The copper golem can move items to the chest but can't move them to the barrel. Why

If I had a storage room with barrels in it, I wouldn't get any use out of the copper golem and would have to forgo the barrels, making them just a useless decoration.

    as someone who often uses a mix of chests and barrels in my storage areas for the aesthetic. I think I'd want Copper Golems to be able to interact with them too. But for similar reasons I'd say not Pots. The Copper Golems possibly filling my decorative columns with odds & ends would be inconvenient.

    I would love if the Copper Golem could fill Barrels too, as I like to use Barrels rather than Chests in my cellars for the aesthetic.

    i need this so bad, i use barrels for aesthetic reasons and have made a whole sorting system using barrels but for non stackable items i have to use chests just to sort specific items with the copper golem? it throws off the look of everything i built i hate it. please minecraft make barrels interactable with golems

    There is a Mod in development that allows Copper Golems to interact with shulkers and barrels.

    What if there was a way you could control what storage the golems use? Like if you could craft any storage block with a copper ingot to make a “copper activated {storage}”. Would look and act the same as the normal block but copper golems would use it. I know Mojang probably made it the way it is right now to try to make them less op, but one of my friends is having to put ugly blockages all over to prevent them from doing dumb things like filling the output of his hopper fed furnace with random junk.

    I feel like there might be some use in having a container type that copper golems DON'T interact with, for whatever reason. Idk.
