With the addition of bundles, suspicious stew has now become a viable source of food for the player. A player can now carry 21 in one inventory slot as a kit.
The only problem is, the dandelion, along with the orchid, is the only viable stew. The durations need reworking and should of course be less duration than potions, but should not be the gimmick they are any longer. The Allium, creating fire res., should last one minute, not 4 seconds. Night vision as well, etc. These times should be serviceable to the player as right now, they are not. The stew, still needing to be crafted, has a high barrier of entry compared to other food items, and the reward should be equal. At 1 minute & 30 seconds, a player could hold 32 minutes of an effect in one slot compared to 32 minutes in 4 for potions. They would then have to decide if they value inventory slots over ease of use & longer intervals between applications, providing balance. This would perhaps incentivize stew bundles for long exploration trips, where many materials are being gathered, but potions for large scale projects. This gives the player plenty of leeway to make their own choice.
