Boats losing all momentum in the air.

I have spent many, many hours crafting an ice boat race track, complete with elevation changes and jumps. In the latest update, which adds “drag” to boats in the air, all momentum is immediately lost and you drop almost completely straight down. This is more than drag. It’s like driving down a highway at 100kph and engaging the handbrake. It completely breaks any designed jump, ruining player crafted features for our ice boat race tracks and the overall flow of the race. Further, since the update, boats now get stuck on simple soulsand water bumps that allow you transition your boat from water onto ice. If you don’t hit it EXACTLY just so, your boat becomes trapped, bobbing up and down in place, unable to move in any direction or even turn. Mojang/Microsoft may not consider this to be a bug, but to players building tracks it can’t be seen as anything but. This affects every single player and provides no alternative. Please, please, PLEASE roll this change back. I’ve been playing since alpha and this is the first time any update has so thoroughly ruined fun.
