New clouds ruined my resource pack

So I had literally made a resource pack that changes the clouds to various pixel art in 1.21.5, but the update that came out right after I made it changed the clouds so they can only be 1 colour. I like the new clouds, don't get me wrong, but it's just so unfortunate that it happened. Isn't there some way you can still allow clouds to be coloured? Maybe allow resource packs to display clouds however they want? If there is already some way to fix this, let me know.
