I love that the devs have made custom biome overlays, fog intensities and colour grading for different biomes, its something unique to VV which I think it completely changes the player experience and makes it more immerse for survival players. However though this is very ideal for survival experience, it is not for creative players.
As a frequent creative player and builder myself, as much as i want to keep VV on, it is simply too distracting and annoying when building in different biomes as this causes inconsistency, the blocks that you use change colour which can make it more difficult to build, and make structures look very off. For example, I have built a skyscraper out of white concrete, however this is in a transformed desert biome, making the building look orange, This also applies to other places in my world where my city is built on top of different biomes.
How do we fix this for creative players and others that simply do not want biome overlay changes?
Make an option to disable/adjust biome overlays, this will give the choice to the player to further personalise their experience. Another addition to this is allowing the player to choose a specific biome overlay to apply to all biomes, for example, as a creative player building a city, I would like all the biomes to have the overlay, fog intensity and colour grading of the plains biome. This will allow all my buildings and blocks to be consistent with each other, no matter what biome they are in.
