Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

An item that prevents mob spawning

There's been a huge problem with Minecraft these past long years now.
That is that we don't have the freedom to build anything dark without worrying about hostile mobs spawning... or bats.

We need an item that prevents that. Prevents mob spawning.
It might have to be a very rare or very hard to get item. But we should be able to duplicate it.
Put it in a block, have a radius of "enough" distance. It could even be from another dimension or biome in the End dimension.

    It should also prevent passive mobs from spawning, because sometimes when you build a large enough base, animals will start spawning inside, too. Sometimes they're animals that you don't want to kill, too.
