I suggest adding a new item called the "Potion Bag," crafted with 3 string, 3 glass bottles, and 3 sacks. This bag can hold up to 3 stacks of throwable potions at once. The bag itself can be customized with Minecraft’s dye colors, similar to the bundle, and renamed via an anvil.
Key features include:
-
Only throwable or splash potions can be stored in the bag, compatible with the mechanic of throwing them directly from the bag using right-click.
-
Players can throw potions directly from the bag without equipping each potion individually.
-
The bag’s splash art changes dynamically based on how full it is.
-
Dispensers cannot interact with the potion bag. Droppers can only drop the bag item, similar to how any other item is dropped.
-
Potion throwing from the bag is random: it does not follow a fixed order. The potion launched can be from any of the 3 slots, adding a strategic element of unpredictability.
-
Secret mechanic: when the player takes damage, there is a chance that one potion inside the bag breaks and its effect is applied to the player.
This feature improves potion management in survival mode without breaking existing mechanics and encourages tactical gameplay.
