The villagers are to helpless

OK, so I have two things to talk about first the poisonous potato it’s kinda useless cause you can’t cook it. No potions or anything so it’s just dumb and clogged up your inventory. Well I have an idea villagers are to helpless against Pillager and players so maybe what if if you Kill the iron golem then all the villagers will throw poisonous potatoes at you and it will just deal half a heart of damage and knockback you like 1 block also, if you hit a certain villager that villager will throw a poisonous potato at you like how llamas if you hit them they spit at you
