Add option to change fog back to the version before 1.21.6

This would just undo the new fog in 1.21.6 if enabled

    Hey, mojang i know this vote is different from others but I have to say that in JAVA EDITION if you eat food and recover your health this process is faster in JAVA, But In Bedrock And Pocket Edition That process is to slow health recover so slow by chance while recovering health in bedrock creepers blast so please fix that thanks.

    The new fog makes the game look halfway to greyscale. I forgot how colorful Minecraft was before this got added. I either won't play newer versions or will have to use mods to fix this issue, which is silly.

    This ruined my head so much that I started having issues again where my motion sickness would worsen and then vomit afterwards because my brain is trying to visualize something in front of me but I could barely even see it because of the fog, I was already having a hard time with the FOV and movement stuff on Minecraft now this one suddenly gets added and it genuinely hurts

    Please add Toggle or Slider for New Fog (Accessibility Concern)

    I’ve posted feedback about the new fog several times since June 2025, and while it’s clear many players agree, there’s still no option to adjust or disable it.

    The current fog causes serious eye strain and headaches for me, and for others too it’s not just a visual preference, it’s an accessibility issue. Nearly 900 votes now and months of feedback have shown this needs to be addressed.

    Please add a toggle or slider in the settings so players can control or turn off the fog. Minecraft should stay comfortable and playable for everyone.

    To be honest, I don’t even fully hate the new fog itself I get what they’re trying to do with atmosphere but after a while, especially in forests or when it’s raining, it becomes really noticeable and uncomfortable.

    Wasn’t the whole point of the feedback system to actually listen to feedback? My post wasn’t about partly adjusting it it was about adding a proper option to turn it off or customize it same for that at feedback.minecraft.net. Instead, they just tweak it a little and call it a fix. It honestly makes me wonder if they’ve read their own feedback thread at all: feedback.minecraft.net.

    If they can polish every tiny detail of visuals like missing pixels or texture seams why not give players the simple choice to keep it like before? I get that they need to balance their focus between requests, feedback, and bug fixes, and that they have a huge library of ideas to sort through. But maybe that system for prioritizing needs to be a bit better so something like this not being kept hanging.

    I like when there wasn’t any fog. I get it for certain biomes, but everywhere isn’t really necessary. For me personally I like to build and can’t see my builds because of it. I don’t like to mess with settings that much and don’t like the fig settings. If I turn it to off, the fog is still present and annoying. Makes it very hard to find good build locations on maps.

    words cannot describe how much i hate the the fog its making my game so glitchy. Everything looks horrible mobs, villagers and even blocks at least 15 blocks in front of me look desformed and blurry leaf blocks even worse. i cant change or remove the fog and it looks like im surrounded by clouds if i were to put it nicely. i would say find a way to turn it off but honestly just remove it please i beg.

    With the recent addition of volume fog in Minecraft Java 1.21.6, some players have reported headaches and discomfort. Since this feature isn’t essential for gameplay and Bedrock edition already allows players to turn off fog, it would be great to see a similar option in Java. Adding a toggle would support accessibility and help Minecraft meet ADA guidelines, making the game more inclusive for everyone. Thanks for considering the needs of all players.

    The new fog really sucks... I cant see the pretty view when i walk out my bases front doors..
    It also causes major migraines which also sucks. I hope we can get an option to turn it off... otherwise I might have to stop playing...

    hi again

    i'd also like to mention this is my first time i ever using feedback minecraft that it is this bad for me to do so i would like to add that i do big builds and i like to build a lot however the fog makes it impossible to see 

    i really connot play the game until this is fixed. i like to play with friends but if i do i cant even move properly as i cant see anything i wonder if mojang actually play the game to see for them selfs .

    please let us toggle fog off.
    it desaturates too much and I'm considering closing my realm because i just cant play it, its too ugly and nobody wants it
