Minecraft has so many amazing servers and gamemodes – competitive PvP, custom minigames, public survival worlds – but most players don’t even know they exist. Why? Because there’s no easy way to find them in-game.
You need to ask people, go on YouTube, Discord, or websites just to get a server IP. That’s a big barrier, especially for new players. Meanwhile, games like Roblox or Fortnite show community games right on the home screen – searchable, filterable, easy to join. That’s why many Minecraft-born gamemodes (like Bedwars or Battle Royale) became big even outside Minecraft.
A built-in Server Browser could change that. Show popular servers by category (PvP, Survival, Minigames, etc.). Let people discover the true variety Minecraft offers. Let people know that it's not just "chill survival" but competitive, creative, and social experiences too.
It would also help solo players who want to play Survival but don’t have friends(like me) to join them. Public SMP servers like DonutSMP have thousands of active players, but many never find them. A discovery system would make that kind of multiplayer experience accessible to everyone.
There’s no reason not to do this. It would benefit everyone.
