Horse Armor...

horse armor is slowly becoming less and less valuable. it has gone without any texture updates since 2019, it cannot be crafted, and unless you really care about your horse, you most likely won't go through all the effort to get some. as well, you can't give it an armor trim, and even though Mojang teased horse armor stands in the 15 year anniversary, they have not made good on that promise. so here are some well needed updates for horse armor:

1. it needs to be craftable. i think the crafting recipe would be simple, made similarly to regular armor but possibly including a saddle.

2. give it a texture update. not just for the held item but also for when it is given to a horse.

3. make special armor trims just for the horse. since most armor trims don't sound or look like they would make sense on a horse, they should have a few that better suit them (pun intended).

4. this may be a risky move, but giving horses less health. that way there would be more incentive to actually obtain the horse armor.

hopefully these suggestions make their way into the games and help make horse armor useful again!
