Let’s talk about our updated settings! (Bedrock)

The settings in Bedrock Edition are being refreshed with a brand-new look!

Each setting now includes a helpful description to make it easier to understand what it does. We've also improved the interaction with sliders—they're now smoother and more responsive for a better user experience.

    El Minecraft de teléfono tiene problemas con el cursor usando un mause por vía OTG porfavor si pueden arreglar este problema se los agradecería lo compre para usarlo con mi teclado y mause ¿para que no funcione de manera correcta?

    Mis sugerencias sobre el nuevo menú "Almacenamiento":

    • Agregar opción para organizarlos desde simples rectángulos hasta cuadrados comprimidos en paquetes de "Comportamiento, Recursos" junto a las interfaces de "Mundos".
    1. Similar al orden del mundo en el menú "Jugar", lo que facilita el desplazamiento y la búsqueda de paquetes específicos.
    • Agregar un botón para cambiar el tipo de organización entre paquetes.
    1. Esto tendría las opciones organizativas actuales, es decir: Pesado - Ligero, pero con más opciones disponibles como: Ligero - Pesado, A - Z, Z - A, y por fecha: Nuevo - Antiguo, Antiguo - Nuevo.
    2. Permitiendo, una vez más, una mayor accesibilidad, organización y eficiencia para quienes puedan necesitarlo.

    In older versions of the game, the settings menu was identical on three screens: the world creation screen, the world editing screen, and the settings screen in the pause menu. All three had the same 4 tabs:

    • Game
    • Multiplayer
    • Resource Packs
    • Behavior Packs

    After the transition from JSON UI to Ore UI, the world creation and world editing screens got a brand new layout. The old Game tab was split into four (General, Advanced, Cheats, and Experiments), so now there are 7 tabs in total:

    • General
    • Advanced
    • Multiplayer
    • Cheats
    • Resource Packs
    • Behavior Packs
    • Experiments

    This is so much better. Everything is easier to find and way less cluttered.

    But the settings screen inside the pause menu got left behind. It's already been moved over to Ore UI, but for some reason it still uses the old 4-tab layout instead of the new 7-tab one. Please update it to match the other two screens so everything stays consistent and properly organized.

    I came to talk about the new storage screen; it's really good, but it has a downside: it's no longer possible to change the storage location from external to application. If your Minecraft was already configured as external, it will remain so without any way to change it. However, if your Minecraft is newly installed or configured as application, it will come as application and cannot be changed, which is quite bad.

    The new storage screen is missing the option to export worlds on mobile. This is a very needed feature as unlike consoles, mobile operating systems are still very open systems, many of which allow direct and full support of accessing the phone file-system.

    It's not in the players best interest for Mojang to lock exporting worlds to Windows only and players shouldn't have to rely on resource packs or third party file managers to access and back up their worlds on their phones, especially because life happens, and things can sometimes go wrong.

    Placing artificial limitations on accessing world files in order to boost Realms subscriptions is a no-no. Just like when it came to the changes made to the pause menu, the team needs to remember that UI updates should always strive to make things easier for the player, not make monetization easier for the corporation.

    There's something strange in Minecraft bedrock/pucket mode. When I install the beta version, the savannah panorama doesn't disappear, but when I try the official version, the new panorama literally appears. I hope this gets fixed. This problem doesn't exist in the Java version.
