The Snare

The Snare is a nightly pale garden creature made of tendrils that roots itself to one block upon spawning.

If a player moves onto the snapper, its tendrils will wrap onto the player and they will be stuck and take damage until they hit the snapper, making it let go and be paralyzed for a bit.

When the Snare is killed, it drops a tendril, a useful tool for lassoing mobs close. Eight tendrils and a redstone block can be crafted into an Artificial Snare, which is useful for traps and redstone switch contraptions.

The Snare would make encounters with the Creaking more riveting by requiring the player to look away from the Creaking as they try to free themselves.

    Cool Artificial snare idea though. How visible is it?

    The Artificial Snare's visibility is a bit darker (1-2 shades) and its color depends on the biome, much like grass!
