Alright so I know everyone complains about the ocean generation because the seas are too small they're like lakes and all the land is touching in one infinite blob that takes the explorative fun out of a limited zone of an unlimited world. but I think there's already a generation system in Minecraft that does this.
(I'm not a programmer so this may not make sense but I hope it does)
Mushroom islands can only be Islands and cant be touching land but they can be bigger than most islands, if the world generation just took the Mushroom islands code and tweaked it to have multi-biome islands it could make the world generation have the perfect balance of sea and land exploration
(after writing this I realized there's already code for multi-biome islands because those are ingame so I got no idea what I'm saying but I just want the perks of having a limited landmass)
