Decorative and Functional Home Appliance

I understand that Mojang has stated that adding furniture was a no, but please hear me and the rest of the community out. Throughout Minecraft’s history, people have always made their own furniture and home decor, however, these were typically through processes which ended up taking more space than they needed to, took more time than it needed to, and was more tedious than it needed to. To make a simple chair that can be sat in involves using redstone which players don’t feel like doing and the end product is just a stair with a minecart Z-Fighting in it. Mojang has already added a furniture block such as a bed, I feel as though this is just not right, so I am asking for the simple addition of basic chairs, that is it. Something as simple as a chair could allow for more roleplay options and make everything feel more alive. Crouching over a slab or a stair block is just unnecessary and we should be allowed to just sit. We don’t ask for much, we just ask for a simple chair or at least a surface that can be right clicked sat in like a minecart. Adding chairs would not inhibit creativity either as this would slightly raise the amount of freedom players have when it comes to home decor and foster a more immersive environment, and for more advanced chair shapes, they can use the old methods. The methods to make these “furniture” are time consuming and it should all be as easy as just placing a bed or block.
