Crafting a furnace from 4 cobblestones

Making a stove out of 4 cobblestones will make survival easier and will be a logical craft, as the crafting table is created from 4 wooden planks. The crafting table is in one block and furnace is also in one block, but it is created from 8 cobblestones!
