Dear Mojang Studios,
Greetings!
I propose adding Avian Biomes to Minecraft’s Overworld to enrich the skies with diverse birdlife, such as sparrows, seagulls, and other species. Currently, the aerial ecosystems feel underpopulated, and this addition could enhance both immersion and gameplay.
Key Features:
-
Bird Spawning:
-
Birds spawn in flocks of 6-7 (or larger groups) or occasionally as solitary birds.
-
Species vary by biome (e.g., seagulls near oceans, sparrows in forests).
-
-
Drops & Crafting:
-
Killing a bird drops its species-specific feather (e.g., Seagull Feather).
-
Feather Arrows: Crafted by combining 1 feather + 4 sticks + 1 flint (yields 8 arrows).
-
No combat bonuses, but visually distinct from regular arrows.
-
-
Decorative Hats: Use feathers in a helmet crafting recipe for purely cosmetic variants.
-
-
Ecosystem Role:
-
Birds avoid hostile mobs and flee if attacked, adding dynamic movement to skies.
-
Ambient chirping sounds tied to biome types.
-
If this suggestion is implemented, I kindly request a unique "Skyward Cape" for my account (wtr2007322) to celebrate the update.
Thank you for your consideration!
Sincerely
