Despite my opinions about the expense of copying armor trims, I think an Electroplate trim would be cool. Basically it completely covers the armor in the material you chose. So you could disguise Netherite armor as iron armor, or leather as diamond.
[Imagine it: You trade another player leather armor Electroplated with gold, they think it's real, so they go to the Nether wearing it. To their shock and horror, the Piglins immediately attack them!]
This would also make all those people clamoring for Emerald armor happy, because it could look like Emerald armor, even if it wasn't in actuality.
Why 'Electroplate'? That is what it's called in real life when you coat something in a very thin layer of metal (usually gold) using electricity.
I think this one should be obtained somewhat differently than normal. When you put an armor trim of any type into a Crafter, then place a lightning rod on top, it will spit out an Electroplate armor trim every time lightning strikes. Perhaps put 7 copper in with it, and those are expended.
An alternate, though less original, idea would be to have the skeletons in Skeleton Traps drop them.
