The Iron Leash links two entities, fixing their relative positions so they move together in sync (while still being able to rotate).
Utility Boats add essential functions to boats. To access the utility, right-click the specific utility part on the boat. These include: Crafting, Furnace (which provides a speed boost ONLY when actively smelting), and Anvil. The Bed Boat takes up the whole boat and cannot be driven alone, but works with leashes in a formation. There is a Dispenser Boat although not a utility, it is good for airships, you can load things in it, and when you press a button (there is a button connected behind it) it shoots or drops it.
Connecting Utility Boats and other entities with Iron Leashes creates a sturdy, moving platform or base that travels as one unit on water. This mobile base can utilize both Iron Leashes for its rigidly linked structure and normal leashes for loose parts, such as trailing supply boats or hanging snow golems for defense. Link this entire formation to a Happy Ghast for a fully functional airborne mobile base, taking your essential facilities and defenses wherever you fly. To expand or repair, players can place new boats onto the structure by Shift + Right-Clicking with a Boat item while on the platform and aiming at the platform.
You can almost build on happy ghasts with the boats, or other leashble things.
