In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, redstone tick behavior is inconsistent compared to Java Edition. In Java, redstone operates on a predictable 1-tick (0.1s) cycle, making contraptions and redstone circuits behave reliably. However, in Bedrock Edition, the timing often varies due to engine differences, resulting in redstone mechanisms behaving unpredictably or even breaking between game sessions or device types.
This inconsistency creates challenges for redstone engineers and map makers who want to build cross-platform compatible designs. It also limits creative potential and causes frustration among the community.
Therefore, we kindly request that redstone ticks in Bedrock Edition be revised to match the consistency and timing of Java Edition, ensuring that redstone builds work reliably across all versions of the game.
