Increase happy ghast speed to be faster than a player sprint jumping.

Currently, the happy ghast is far too slow. While some would argue that this slightly benefits building, I disagree that the speed should be kept slow to accommodate this. The current speed makes it's completely unworthwhile to consider using it as a transport method. It is slower then a sprint jumping player, so no one would chose it to use for exploration/transport.

Which in my opinion, is clearly one of Mojang's intentions of adding it, proven by the addition of the ability of being able to airlift large mobs and boats. Speaking of this new feature, I would consider it a great idea and a gamechanger if the happy ghast was not so slow. 

So in conclusion, the happy ghast is not a option worth considering for transport and exploration, and it's speed undermines the additions Mojang is continuing to add. How to fix this? Increase the speed to be faster than a sprint jumping player and ideally faster than a boat.

    Yeah and you should be able to do a speed boost by sprinting

    Happy ghasts aren't meant for transportation, however they should be at least as fast as a walking player.

    isn't there a "turbo mode" that already does this?

    What about adding a snowball on a stick that when used (Right-click) increases the happy ghast's speed? This mechanic is already used within the game with the pig and the strider, and it will allow players to choose between different speeds for their ghast.

    I agree. I just got my first Happy Ghast, and I wouldn't even consider it for building because transporting it even to wherever I would build would be a nightmare. Besides, we already have scaffolding which is cheap. The Happy Ghast was advertised to make transport of mobs and players easier and right now Nimbus (my ghasts name) is just sitting in his stall doing nothing. waste of my time and exploration getting this thing. The speed MUST be at least equivalent to sprinting speed. There are ways around this via commands and potions, but what if you made a world without cheats? You can't change it, and potions don't do much of anything. PLEASE MAKE THE GHAST FASTER.

    This is true, the happy ghast is a great mob but players comment on its speed quite a lot. If this could be changed it would be very appreciated
