Now you can tame a slime.
Step-by-step: To get your own pet slime, you first need to have some slime near you. Then, drop any expendable item from your inventory on the ground and wait for the slime to go to the item in order to consume it. Once you've done that, congratulations, you've got yourself a cute little friend :)
Variety of colors:
Slimes come with the standard color we currently have, which is green. But if you take a slime ball and mix it with any dye, you can change the color of your slime however you like.
Functions:
The tamed slime can be used as a trash can. Making the cactus and lava a less stressful secondary option.
Drawbacks:
- The chance of taming by item consumption is approximately 25%. -The slime must be in its weakest form in order to be tamed.
- almost any item in the game can be used to feed your slime, except items that exceed explosion resistance level 45, as described in the Minecraft wiki “Module:Explosion resistance values”.
- perhaps it's not a good idea to give your own pet slime a slime block, if you don't want to have a BIG company wanting to eat your items.
- you can add a fire particle effect to your pet slime if you give it 10 Magma Cream.
