Bioluminesecent Aquifers (or Deep Dark Oceans?)

I was thinking glowing aquifers since most aquifers are just rocky caves filled with water with no life in them. Imagine if they had bioluminescent creatures similar to glow squids, like Anglerfish! And they might have tubular plants or even Crinoids! Weird creatures you can only find in aquifers or the deep ocean biomes, but at the bottom where light doesn't reach. Possibly weird creatures that make the place seem surreal. They might be an extension/sub-biome of the Deep Dark, or maybe something completely different, it's own separate thing. I just have no reason to explore aquifers in the beginning because of what a pain they are to come across.
