I think this would be a good thing because it adds consistency with cobblestone and cobbled deepslate, but also adds some new cobblestone types for you to craft with and build with. And this would also be good because then you can actually use the other 3 stone types as something to make stone tools and other things like that with. And besides, mining the 3 stone types feels a little weird because it always feels like you have silk touch when mining even if you don't have silk touch.
