Carrying villagers can be a very long trip from Point A to Point B. An idea sparked me while trying to get a villager back to my base from a faraway village. Currently, the most efficient way to get villagers from their village to your base is to use rails and minecarts. This method, while it is deemed the most efficient, is still inefficient and is usually costly (crafting rails and powered rails.) Here's how my suggestion could help shape a difficult task into something a lot more uncomplicating and simpler.
My idea: using a horse to transport villagers. Using a lead, you'll right-click the villager (tying it up.) Then, right-clicking the horse will place the villager on its stomach, on the horse (behind your seat.) Then, you go on your way and transport the villager.
How will this help players? This will cost you only a lead, and a tamed horse with a saddle. Lots of planning goes into transporting villagers, but this concept will be a straightforward solution to the overly challenging and time-consuming journey. This notion also has little to no flaws in travelling (meanwhile, other methods are performed with difficulty.)
I want this idea to come to Minecraft because kidnapping villagers is a common tactic that players use for access to trading and would overall be a more enjoyable adventure. It would feel more like an adventure than wasting time.
In conclusion, I hope this concept is thought over and discussed among people. Thanks for reading and I hope you consider my idea.
